First Post: Seahawks Late Post Draft Reaction

   Going Into This draft I had a few things I was hoping to happen. First, I wanted to draft a replacement QB for Geno Smith. For the sole reason of Him being the most perfect definition of mediocre. He has his good moments don't get me wrong, but he also has some awful moments that make me want to pull out my hair. Another thing That I wanted to happen and was probably the biggest thing we needed, was to solve the Defensive line and Linebacker problem. I cant tell you how many times this year I screamed at my tv because of how bad our run defense game is. In a division against Christian Mccaffrey who speaks for himself, Kyren Williams who had an amazing rookie year, Blake Corum a rookie with promise in that Sean Mcvay Offense, and James Connor who is a seasoned vet still Kicking around having great seasons. If we didn't do anything to improve that part of our defense, we were going to be the laughing stock of the entire NFL. Good thing we did do something to improve our defense. First we took Byron Murphy who greatly reminds me of Aaron Donald. Im hoping that Byron Murphy becomes even half of Aaron Donald because that man terrorized my team for 10 straight years. Then we took Christian Haynes, which Im also happy about but it wasn't one of our biggest needs. Still a good pick though. Next we took what I consider the best pick of the draft. We took Tyrice Knight out of UTEP, Someone I was extremely high on going into the draft but I didn't think we were going to get him because I knew we weren't going defense 2 picks in a row. But we got him in the 4th and I couldn't be more happy. Because of how bad our run defense was last year taking someone who resembles a faster Bobby Wagner to replace Bobby Wagner Himself makes me Ecstatic. The rest of the draft was decent we took some players that might make an impact like DJ James, and Nehemiah Pritchett. Both would compliment the trio of Devon Witherspoon, Tariq Woolen, and Julian Love very nicely. After his first draft I would have to I would have to give Mike Macdonald a B+ or A- so far. That grade can go up or down during training camp and during this season. The reason it's not higher is because we didn't draft a QB. We did bring in Tua's Brother who went undrafted but Im not sure if that's who I want taking the reins of my team in the near future. I am happy with this offseason so far and let's hope it gets even better during Camp. Remember Go Hawks🔵🟢
